Skin Lab Aesthetic Clinic – Terms and Conditions for Botox and Injectable Procedures
 
1. General Information
 
By booking an appointment for Botox or any injectable procedure (including but not limited to dermal fillers, micro-needling with injectables, PRP, or similar treatments) at Skin Lab Aesthetic Clinic, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined below. These procedures are medical aesthetic treatments that involve certain risks and potential complications, and require informed consent.
 
2. Risks and Complications
 
Although Botox and injectable treatments are generally safe when administered by trained professionals, all medical procedures carry some level of risk. These may include, but are not limited to:
  • Bruising, redness, swelling, tenderness, or pain at the injection site
  • Headache or flu-like symptoms
  • Drooping of the eyelid or eyebrow (ptosis)
  • Asymmetry or undesired cosmetic outcome
  • Allergic reaction
  • Infection
  • Lumps, bumps, or nodules under the skin
  • Vascular occlusion (blockage of a blood vessel, which may lead to serious complications such as skin necrosis or even blindness in rare cases)
  • Nerve damage (extremely rare)
 
These risks have been fully explained to you during your consultation, and you will have had the opportunity to ask questions before undergoing any treatment.
 
3. Informed Consent
 
By booking and attending an appointment at Skin Lab Aesthetic Clinic, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
  • You have received a consultation with a qualified practitioner, and the procedure, including its nature, purpose, risks, benefits, and alternatives, has been explained in detail.
  • You understand that results vary from person to person and that no outcome is guaranteed.
  • You are aware that follow-up treatments or corrections may be necessary to achieve or maintain the desired result.
  • You confirm that you are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and that you have disclosed all relevant medical history, allergies, and current medications.
  • You agree that you have been given sufficient time and opportunity to consider the information and ask any questions.
 
4. Booking and Cancellation Policy
  • A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your appointment.
  • Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid a late cancellation fee.
  • Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time or rescheduling, and a fee may apply.
 
5. Post-Treatment Care
 
You agree to follow all aftercare instructions provided by your practitioner to minimize the risk of complications and ensure the best possible outcome. Failure to do so may affect your results or increase the risk of side effects.
 
6. Liability
 
While Skin Lab Aesthetic Clinic strives to provide high-quality and safe treatments, by booking and proceeding with any injectable procedure, you agree that:
  • You fully understand and accept the inherent risks of the treatment.
  • You release Skin Lab Aesthetic Clinic, its practitioners, and staff from any liability for adverse reactions, complications, or unsatisfactory results arising from known or disclosed risks or non-compliance with instructions.
 
7. Agreement
 
By booking your appointment, you confirm that:
  • You have read and fully understood these terms and conditions.
  • You have had all your questions answered to your satisfaction.
  • You voluntarily consent to the procedure and accept the risks involved.
